Transportistas Unidos Mexicanos

Transportistas Unidos Mexicanos otherwise known as TUM or TUM Transportistas, is a Mexican Trucking Company based out of Mexico City founded in 1938. TUM operates 18 terminals all over Mexico, with its corporate headquarters located in Mexico City Mexico, and its international headquarters located across from the U.S.' busiest port of entry in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. TUM carries a fleet of over 1,800 Trucks, 2,500 trailers, and 1,800 drivers making it the largest trucking company in Mexico.
TUM serves major clients such as Colgate, Dell, Inc., Sony, Adidas, Frito-Lay, Nestle, L'Oréal, Sara Lee, Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, Costco, Walmart, Honda, and more.
TUM's services include but are not limited to: Importation and Exportation including full door to door services to the United States; national distribution; intermodal; specialized services including bulletproof units, flatbed, and refrigertated units;
In 2001, TUM opened its first terminal in the United States located in Laredo, Texas named TUM Logistics. TUM Logistics is a third party logistics provider which facilitates the door to door operation with TUM Transportistas.
In 2011, TUM Logistics Carrier Division was formed as a direct American carrier starting with a fleet of 50 trucks and 150 trailers.
TUM has also received numerous awards and certifications including, C-TPAT certification, ISO 9000 series certification, and Ford Motor Company's prestigious Q-1 certification.
